When water finds its way into an Austin home, the crew that shows up matters as much as the equipment on the truck. Our team has been pulling homes back from the edge since 2006, and every technician behind the Wendell name in Austin works the same way: written pricing before anything starts, photo updates by text, and a live person on the phone at 3 a.m. if that’s when the pipe lets go. We’re independently owned and operated, which means the people below aren’t names on a corporate roster. They’re your neighbors, and they’re the ones holding the moisture meter.
Restoration work we handle

Our People
Marcus T. – Lead Water Damage Technician
Marcus has spent 14 years in water damage restoration, and he’s seen everything a Central Texas slab foundation can throw at a homeowner, from hairline supply line cracks in Allandale to full attic tank failures in Round Rock. He holds IICRC Water Damage Restoration certification and specializes in psychrometric drying, which, in plain words, means he tracks the air’s moisture level so we know your walls are actually dry, not just surface-dry to the touch. He can read a drying log the way a mechanic reads an engine. On weekends, Marcus restores vintage motorcycles, which explains why he’s the first to spot when a floor joist is swelling before anyone else in the room sees it.
Dana R. – Mold Remediation Lead
Dana has 11 years of remediation experience and runs point on every mold job in Austin, from small bathroom ceilings in Hyde Park to full crawl space contamination out toward Dripping Springs. She’s certified in Applied Microbial Remediation and follows IICRC S520 protocols on every project, which means containment chambers, negative air pressure, and antimicrobial treatment before any drywall gets opened up, not after. Dana’s human detail: she keeps a laminated map of Austin watersheds in her truck because she swears the humidity patterns along Barton Creek predict which neighborhoods will call with mold issues next, and so far, nobody’s found a reason to argue with her.
Elena V. – Service Coordinator
Elena is the voice on the phone when you call Wendell Restoration Austin at (325) 237-2088, and she’s been coordinating emergency dispatch for 8 years. She’s the one who books your service in a tap, texts you a live arrival time so you’re not sitting through a vague four-hour window, and sends before-and-after photos straight to your phone while the crew is still on site. Elena runs on coffee and checklists, and she has a dry sense of humor that tends to show up right when a stressful water heater flood has you at your wit’s end. She doesn’t put you on hold to check a script. She knows what the next step is because she’s dispatched it a thousand times.
Jordan P. – Apprentice Technician
Jordan joined the Austin crew two years ago as an apprentice and has already earned his IICRC Water Restoration Technician credential, which for a guy in his mid-20s means he passed the same exam the veterans did. He runs support on extraction jobs, sets up air movers from XPOWER and B-Air, and logs moisture readings every four hours on drying jobs, the unglamorous work that keeps your claim moving. Jordan grew up in Pflugerville and can tell you which taco spot to hit after a job goes long, which, in this line of work, comes up more often than anyone wants it to.
One Standard, Every Job
Every crew member who walks through your door in Austin is background-checked and shows up in uniform, because you should know exactly who’s in your home before they cross the threshold. The work runs on the same standard whether it’s a burst supply line in a downtown condo or a slow sink leak in a Crestview ranch house: professional equipment from Dri-Eaz, Phoenix, XPOWER, B-Air, and Injectidry, deployed under IICRC, RIA, and IFA practices. That’s what The Relay Standard means to us: the price goes in writing before any work starts, the 365-Day Done Right Promise is written into every job, and if the repair fails within a year, there’s a free second visit. We don’t fence you in with a callback queue or an automated phone tree. When you call (325) 237-2088, Elena or another live person answers, because water in Austin doesn’t keep business hours, and neither do we.
